Donations collected on this page are used exclusively by the Alger Conservation District for the residents of Alger County. Currently, we are seeking help to complete a local project which is underway in Chatham, MI.
The Conservation District, in partnership with the community members and businesses, has made great strides to preserve native wildflowers, native trees, and begin the development of a community garden which will feature a bird watching platform overlooking the MSUX ponds, a walking trail, and provide on-going educational workshops for both children and adults.
