Alger Conservation District has funds and work crews available to assist landowners with control of invasive Knotweeds, Purple Loosestrife, Phragmites*, Wild Parsnip, Garlic Mustard, and a few other invasive baddies at little or NO cost to you. If you have these invasive plants on your property, call us as soon as possible to let us know and find out how to get assistance while this grant money is available. If you think you have invasive plants but aren’t sure, call us for a free site visit.
We can’t stop invasive weeds if we don’t know where they are…so please call to report infestations to our office, 906-387-2222.
